Round 2 of the Drexler Cup saw the teams visit the renowned Red Bull Ring. Victor's weekend started strong, with a 3rd-place overall qualifying result and the pace to grab the pole before some traffic interrupted his fast lap.
In race 1, Victor lost a position at the start, allowing the second—and third-place cars to pull ahead. Unable to close the gap, he kept pace, bringing the car home second in class and fourth overall.
Race 2 saw Victor battling for the last overall podium position. Victor dropped back to 5th as the race ensued, but a brilliant overtake claimed the 4th position. Persistent race pace and patience eventually paid off, as Victor took the 2nd position in class and 3rd overall.
"We made much progress compared to Vallelunga, felt a lot better in the car, and had the pace in qualifying to be close to the pole but ran into traffic and had to settle for 3rd. Race 1 had a bad start and brought it home to the end; race 2 was a bit more eventful, had a bad start and lost a position but got it back a few laps later. The field closed, but I held my ground and finished 3rd."
